This Northridge E Series EC25 center channel loudspeaker was custom-designed to superbly reproduce the human voice. Many movie soundtracks consist mainly of dialogue, so the center speaker shoulders the burden of filling a home theater. The EC25 easily handles the job. And it's video-shielded, so it can be placed on top of a television. Equipped with JBL's titanium-laminate tweeters and dual PolyPlas woofers, the speaker reproduces dialogue with extreme clarity. The lows and mids, assisted by the FreeFlow flared port, are loud and clear, without unwanted distortion or boominess. Features 150-watt maximum amplifier power with 75-watt/300-watt continuous/peak power handling. Sturdy gold-plated, 5-way binding posts provide a strong connection that preserves all of the nuances of the original program.
